DDA40X Centennial #6938
Centennial #6938 is on display at the main entrance to the UPRR
Jenks Shops in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This facility was built
by the Missouri Pacific, which later merged with the Chicago Northwestern,
which later merged with Union Pacific. Jenks Shops features over 272,000
square feet of space, and is able to do all phases of diesel locomotive
maintenance. The shop complex is named after Downing B. Jenks, a former
chairman of the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
