Mercury Sigma 7 spacecraft on display at the US Astronaut Hall Of Fame in Titusville, Florida. This was the fifth manned Mercury flight, and the third US manned orbital flight. Its flight time of nine and a quarter hours was nearly as long as the sum total of the previous four manned flights. While each of the previous three Mercury flights had some major problem, this was the first US manned orbital flight that was carried out without major problems.
