The ABCs of Minneapolis
Street Signs — Part 7

Introduction The west metro area of Minneapolis features seven different rotations of streets named in alphabetical order. This the seventh sequence of streets in alphabetical order heading towards the west, running from Archer Lane to Zircon Lane.

The best place to see this sequence is to travel I-494 through the western suburbs and exit at Highway 9 (Rockford Road). Travel about a mile west, and veer to the right on Old Rockford Road. This sequence of streets will start just after Vicksburg Lane, and will run about a mile and one-half until the intersection with MN-55. You will have to do a bit of hunting a block either side of Old Rockford Road to find all the streets.
