The I-90 Mississippi River crossing at La Crosse is nearly 3 miles
across. The crossing consists of long causeways, the main channel
Dresbach Bridge, the Black River Channel Bridges, the French Slough
Bridges, and these two bridges over Round Lake. Round Lake was once
a Mississippi River slough, but the north end of the slough was blocked
when the Lock & Dam was built just upstream of this crossing.

located just north of La Crescent, Minnesota, on Houston County Highway #1.
County Highway #1 is also known as the Apple Blossom Scenic Drive. The
route follows the edge of the river bluffs and offers spectacular views of
one of the most scenic stretches of the Mississippi River.
