Bryn-Mawr (Die-cut Sign)
Bryn-Mawr is named after the Bryn-Mawr Elementary School, which means big hill in the Welsh language. Several early residents of the area moved in from Bryn-Mawr, Pennsylvania. This sign features a very elegant die-cut design. |

The CARAG neighborhood is named after its local neighborhood group, the Calhoun Area Residents Action Group. |

Cedar-Isles-Dean is named after three features of this neighborhood, Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, and Dean Parkway. The parkway is named in honor of A. J. Dean, who donated land for the construction of the parkway. |

The East Isles neighborhood takes its name from its geographical location on the east side of the Lake of the Isles. The lake is named for its two small islands. |

ECCO, also known as East Calhoun, is named after its community organization, the East Calhoun Community Organization. The neighborhood is located on the east shore of Lake Calhoun. Lake Calhoun is named in honor of John Calhoun, Vice President of the United States under Presidents Adams and Jackson. |

The Kenwood neighborhood took its name from the real estate company that developed the neighborhood. The Mary Tyler Moore house is located in Kenwood. This neighborhood is not signed as of the summer of 2010. |

Lowry Hill is named after the hill it is located on and around. Lowry Hill is named for Thomas Lowry, one of the developers and an early resident of the neighborhood. |
